Marian M Bowen, 99, of Burlington Flats passed away peacefully Sunday, July 8th 2012, at Otsego Manor in Cooperstown, New York.

Marian was born April 17th, 1913 in the village of Garrattsville, New York. She was the seventh child of the eleven children of Fred and Beulah Tuller Morris. Marian was the last surviving sibling. Marian is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marian married Sherman Charles Bowen, December 17th 1938. He predeceased her on November 17, 1997. Together they engaged in numerous rural enterprises, including the operation of a large chicken farm, maple syrup production, vegetable farming, as well as others. Marian with her husband enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, gardening, and bird watching. Marian loved all animals, but none more then her cat Baxter and her cocker spaniel Penny.

Committal services will be private and at the convenience of the family at the Burlingotn Flats Cemetery.
