While Memorial Day centers around the United States worthy Veterans, our firm finds that it is also a time that many reflect upon their families past history. Some do so by visiting family gravesites or other meaningful locations, such as: rivers, favorite hunting sites, or mountaintops. A vow, from you, that they will not be forgotten.

There are numerous ways to celebrate and remember a life that touched us so deeply while they walked this earth with us. Sharing stories, looking through photo albums and scrapbooks, and even sharing favorite recipes make a difference on how we reflect on our loved ones.

This page was added to our website from our recent trip to a National Funeral Directors Convention. Each item listed below offers another way for you and family to commemorate a loved ones life, reinforce a special occasion, or just simply assist in savoring a life.

It is our hope that these unique Memorial items bring you comfort. In the meantime, rest assured that we are keeping you in our prayers, and are grateful for your faith in our services.

Irish Dirt:

I first saw this item at last year’s National FD Convention and brought a bag home for my Dad. My Mother, Anita, died in March of 2007. Each time my Dad goes to visit her gravesite at Calverton National Cemetery he brings along the bag to spread some Irish soil by her headstone. She was so proud of her Irish heritage, and my dad enjoys the symbolic gesture of providing her with a piece of her homeland.
